Galceau Vitamin Water:Tranquilo

I have had a few of these, I it did before In started my Blog, I'll probably do it again.
I like them okay, they are more healthy than pop(By a bit, and they taste ok, and best of all, they are $.99 everywhere.
I grabbed the Tranquilo because it is Pineapple, which I love, despite its rather sad beverage offerings up to now.
This one is different, it's water remember, so the fact that it has not a bit of sharpness is expected.But it's real problem is it's lack of anything, it tastes like someone took a pineapple soda and ran water into it. That's not a BAD flavor, but certainly not great either. The Tamarind in there is supposedly to add tang, but we have established already the lack of such, so what does the tamarind do precisely?
It seems to add a strange undertone to the pineapple, something you have to taste to describe. I'm not huge on it, but I can let it go.
My peeve with it, comes an hour or so after its gone, you have this real strong chemical flavor which is not pleasant at all.

It has not changed my opinion on pineapple drinks, but it's not supposed to be strong, which is what I want. I can say that I'm not going to get another, but I will certainly finish mine.
