Some drinks fail to stand alone, but if you find two on sale as I did, they mix well.
It's retarded, but hey, why not?

Fuze Tangerine Grapefruit+Deton8 Sugar Free= Better than both, the overpowering sweetness of this particular Fuze is cut by the ridiculous tang of the Deton8, the mix is low carb, it's got energy, and it's cheaper than a standard energy drink.

Deton8 Sugar Free

No Pic available, sorry
I am not big on energy drinks as a whole, because I don't think anyone needs that much caffeine. Thing is, there are a freakin' lot of them out there, so if I want to do this right, I'm gonna be sippin some of the crazy juice.
I find that most energy drinks have a flavor somewhat like cough syrup cut with Sprite, and they tend to have the sharp, almost painful carbonation that Coke and Mountain Dew have. Deton8 has a flavor that is more cough syrup(minerals, taurine, caffeine and such) than Sprite(flavoring, sweetener), and the carbonation is more like Pepsi or Vernors Ginger Ale, it is a lot of bubbles, but they don't tingle as much. The Aftertaste leaves your mouth dry and it gets tangier as you drink.
I admitted already that energy drinks don't really trip my trigger, but this one is truly not great. Okay, but not great. The fizz is well done(if there is any doing to it), the flavor is survivable, even if it does lack any attempt to mask the ingredients, and the aftertaste is actually almost salty.
I was not a fan of the way it stick with you, you know when you go to the dentist and you can taste fluoride for the rest of the day? Yeah, right here, albeit not fluoride, it does leave a mineral taste in your mouth for WAY too long.
Also, as a rule, I try to avoid drinks that make my tongue go numb after a half can.

At a buck, I can see the benefits, especially if you imbibe these concoctions to get a jolt. But the flavor is not something I'd choose over say....VENOM.

Fuze Slenderize: Tangerine Grapefruit

I am going to start with my opinion and explain it as I go. This stuff is okay, but I do not really like it so much as tolerate it.
I mean, I will finish it and I'm not bothered by reviewing it, but I can't see it as a loss if I never have one again.
It tastes like the juice you get out of a can of mandarin oranges tangy, somewhat too sweet for it's name, and a little sticky despite the low-carb label.
Supposedly there is grapefruit in here somewhere, but I can't taste it. The color certainly convinces me but I wish you could taste it, it might cut the canned-fruit taste of the tangerine.
If someone throws it at you feel free to drink it, but you won't find me scouring the cooler for one of these.
